Mindy Smoot Robbins- Mindy's love for music theatre began at a very early age. She started training at four and began working professionally at sixteen. Her credits include the Broadway Tour of Les Miserables with Colm Wikinson, Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disney, Tuacahn's Sound of Music as Maria, Eliza in My Fair Lady , Annie in Annie Get Your Gun , Liesl in the Sound of Music ; B.Y.U.'s Young Ambassadors and Lagoon Theme Park. She has had the opportunity to sing with the L.A. Philharmonic in the role of Mary in Lex DeAzevedo's Gloria, the Life of Christ . She has been a guest star on the national TV series, Touched By an Angel and has many other commercial credits. She has spent hundreds of hours in the recording studio. She vocally coached and recorded with Mandy Moore. She has also recorded for Kurt Bestor, Brett Raymond and Priddis Karaoke. She received a B.F.A. in Music Dance Theatre from B.Y.U., where she is currently teaching voice in the School of Music. She has been teaching private voice for 11 years and is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. She is also a member of the Actor's Equity Union. |
